If you have a question about treatment

This website is not a dental practice. We cannot answer questions about your teeth, your suitability for an implant or a treatment plan you have been given, and we cannot recommend or book a practitioner. Those questions belong with a dentist who can examine you.

Start with your own dentist. They know your history and can refer you on to another dentist or a registered specialist if needed. If you do not have a dentist, our page on what an implant assessment involves explains what to expect and what to take with you, wherever you choose to be assessed.

Please do not send health information

Information about your health is special personal information under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA). We do not need it and we do not want to hold it. Please do not send us X-rays, scans, treatment plans, symptoms, medical aid details or ID numbers. If you send them by mistake, we will delete them and will not act on them.

Questions about the website

For questions about the website itself, such as a correction, a broken link, a privacy request or a business matter, email us at [CONFIRM: general contact email address]. Tell us which page you mean. We read every message, but we do not promise a response time.

If you think a page is wrong, out of date or unclear, we want to know. Corrections help every reader. Requests about personal information, such as access or deletion, are handled under our privacy policy.

Practices

If you run a practice and see something about your area that is inaccurate, please tell us at the address above. We do not sell enquiries, bookings, rankings or recommendations, and we do not publish named practice listings. [CONFIRM: any practice listing arrangement, flat fee only and attorney-confirmed, before it is described here]

Frequently asked questions

Can I book an implant assessment through this website?

No. We do not book appointments or pass on details. Contact your own dentist or a practice directly.

Can I send you my X-rays or describe my symptoms?

Please do not. We are not a dental practice and cannot give clinical advice. Do not send us health information. Speak to a dentist.

Is there a phone number?

We do not offer a phone line for clinical questions. [CONFIRM: whether a business phone number is published for website matters]

What if I have a dental emergency?

Contact a dentist or a medical emergency service. This website cannot help in an emergency.

The next step is an assessment by a dentist

Only a dentist who examines you, with X-rays or a scan, can say whether an implant is suitable and what it would involve. Start with your own dentist. If you do not have one, read what an implant assessment covers and what to take with you.
